The Chronicles of Z - in Spain:
*It came as no surprise that when I actually saw the real Guernica the other day I had tears in my eyes but what made it worse (read special) was when I explained its concept to Zoran he said, "But Mama isnt all this happening in Pakistan now?"
How ironic that a 4 year old boy can recognize the extent of the atrocities, the horror that Pakistanis are being subjected to (mostly by their own selves!) but we, the "grown ups" cant.
*Zoran on seeing the hundreds of statues of famous personalities in Spain turns to me and says, "Hmm, so Mama all of these were really famous people?"
I say, "Yes."
Z:"But Mama, Dora is Spanish too you know, and she's really, really famous also. Don't you think they should have her statue here as well?"
